Tet is the celebration of the Lunar New Year, the most observed holiday for Vietnamese people worldwide.Hundreds of people from all over the world will gather to participate in this year’s Tet Festival which has kept an ongoing tradition of fun, culture, and entertainment for all.
The year, Vietlish TV! in collaboration with film production house Rumble Pictures, online hosts Maria Tran (leading actress in ABC TV Kung Fu Series “Downtown Rumble”) & Joseph Hieu (2009 Australian-Vietnamese Award Recipient) will be filming their Vietlish TV! Special Edition at the festival during the course of three days.
We will making a 6 part episode of the event:
Episode 1. Vietnamese Tet Festival Hightlights
Episode 2. Tet Festival Cooking Segment
Episode 3. Symbolisms, traditions & rituals
Episode 4. The Kitchen Gods -Mr and Mrs Apple
Episode 5. Year of the Tiger, Myths, Misconceptions and Superstitions
Episode 6. Food Fashion and Festive Fun!
Our clips will then be complied into a DVD package and launch worldwide by May 2010!
